Introduction

Sugong Pagoda, also known as Emin Pagoda, was built by the Qing Dynasty general and king of Turpan, Emin Khoja, to express his gratitude to the Qing Dynasty and his piety to Allah. The pagoda body adopts a conical design, with balance and contraction above and below, within reach. The surface of the pagoda is divided into 15 geometric patterns, including triangles, four-petal flowers, waves, and diamonds, among others, which form a flowing Islamic style. Looking up from the bottom of the pagoda, it is like being in front of a changing art painting. There are several skylights at different positions around the pagoda, which not only ventilate and light up, but also have certain religious meanings. The landscape of Sugong Pagoda consists of the pagoda and a nearby mosque that can accommodate 1,000 people. The entire building is made of yellow bricks, appearing golden in the sunset, blending with the surrounding natural environment, and becoming one of the must-visit photography spots.
