Introduction

The Summer Palace is located in the western suburbs of Beijing, China, and is one of the famous classical gardens. It consists of Wanshou Mountain and Kunming Lake, with the architecture complementing the mountains and lakes for a beautiful scenery. The park is divided into three areas: the political activity area, the emperor and empress living area, and the scenic area. Inside the long corridor of the Summer Palace, there is a dreamlike, small, purple "waterfall," with beautiful purple flowers blooming on the vines, like a dream, very attractive. The Summer Palace was listed on the World Heritage List on December 2, 1998.

For group visits, every 10 students or children can receive one free ticket for a teacher, and every preschool child can be accompanied by one parent or guardian for free.

1. To reach the West Gate: Take bus 469 or 539 and get off at the Summer Palace West Gate stop, and walk to the gate. 2. To reach the North Gate: Take subway line 4 and get off at the Beigongmen station exit D, or take buses 303, 332, 346, 384, 394, or 563 to the Summer Palace North Gate stop and walk to the gate. 3. To reach the East Gate: Take subway line 4 and get off at the Xiyuan station exit C1/C2, or take buses 303, 332, 346, 584, or night bus 8 to the Summer Palace stop and walk to the gate. 4. To reach the New Palace Gate: Take buses 374, 437, or 74 to the Summer Palace New Palace Gate stop and walk to the gate.
