Introduction
Houbihu Fishing Port, located in the Daguang area of Kenting, is the largest fishing port on the Hengchun Peninsula and the biggest yacht marina in Taiwan. The port consists of an outer fishing port and an inner yacht marina, capable of accommodating 350 fishing boats. The recently completed Fishermen's Association building houses a fish market, service center, and retail shops. The yacht marina has been in operation since 2000, offering boat services, a visitor center, a café lounge, a travel club, seafood restaurants, boutique shops, and various water activities. Houbihu is also the breeding ground for sailfish, flying fish, and swordfish from April to July, making it a perfect destination for seafood lovers. During this time, tanned fishermen prepare their gear, unload their catch, and unload the shiny fish from the ice storage in the hold of their boats.
