Introduction

Jinglian Waterfall is a famous attraction located in Izu, Japan, known as one of the top 100 waterfalls in Japan. The waterfall is about 7 meters wide and 25 meters high, and the falling water looks like wisps of mist, which is breathtaking. Legend has it that a woodcutter once broke his promise to a spider demon and revealed the secret of Jinglian Waterfall to others, and was hence punished by the spider demon. This legend reminds us to be cautious with our words, keep our promises, and not to violate them easily.
