Introduction

Byblos is one of the ancient settlements located 40 kilometers north of Beirut, founded in 5000 BC. For 7000 years, it has been one of the cradles of Mediterranean civilization. Numerous historical and cultural deposits have been preserved here, such as the Bronze Age, the Sechosos Dynasty, the Phoenicians, the Romans, and the Byzantine period. In addition, Byblos is also a natural harbor that has always been prosperous. The place is also the birthplace of many names mentioned in the Bible.
