Introduction

The city center of Trinidad is an impressive area, with a square facing a large cathedral and surrounded by impressive 17th and 18th-century mansions. These buildings have largely become museums, including the Romantic Museum, City Museum, Archaeological Museum, and Revolution Museum. On the square next to the church, there are also galleries and architectural museums, as well as some residential buildings that have become museums. The tropical atmosphere and historical ambiance of the square provide the best background for visiting these buildings and strolling around.
