Introduction

Banzai Cliff is located on Saipan Island and is a place of historical significance. It is said that after World War II, the Japanese on the island chose to commit suicide in despair, bringing their families to this place, watching towards Japan, and then jumping into the sea, demonstrating their loyalty and faith in their homeland. This place was named "Banzai Cliff". Today, many Japanese tourists come to Saipan every year to commemorate their ancestors and pray for peace. To commemorate this history, a peace monument and a Kannon statue were erected here. This attraction has become an important landmark on the island, attracting many tourists to visit and learn about history.
