Introduction

Red Mountain Park is named after the purple-red conglomerate rock formation that makes up its mountains, commonly known as "Hongshan Mouth". It has now become a favorite destination for leisure among locals. The most famous landscape in the park is the "Red Mountain Sunset", which is considered one of the most representative landscapes in Urumqi and is a must-see destination for tourists. Located in the city center, the Far View Building on the mountaintop is the best place to overlook the entire Urumqi city. In addition, apricot trees, which have difficulty surviving in Urumqi, are still thriving on Red Mountain, making the park the only area in Urumqi with apricot trees.
