Introduction

Sun Yat-sen established the Army Officer School during the first cooperation between Kuomintang and Communist Party in 1924, which also became the birthplace of the Chinese military. The school held seven sessions on Changzhou Island, then moved to Nanjing in 1930 and later to Chengdu and Taiwan. However, the old site was destroyed in 1938 by Japanese air raids. Now, the old site building presents a typical Republic of China style and includes attractions such as the main campus, Sun Yat-sen's former residence, the Eastern Expedition Martyrs Cemetery, the Northern Expedition Memorial Monument, and the Dapo Pao Tai. In addition, the venue provides multiple explanatory periods at 10:00, 11:00, 13:00, 14:00, and 15:00 respectively.
