Introduction

Jiayuguan Pass is an important transportation hub on the ancient Silk Road, located at the western end of the Ming Great Wall. It is one of the most spectacular passes along the route. The pass was built during the Ming Dynasty and consists of an inner city, outer city, and moat. The outer city's majestic fortress overlooks the scenery outside the pass, while the inner city's tower provides a view of the beautiful scenery at the foot of the Qilian Mountains. In addition, there are many small booths selling ancient costumes, calligraphy and paintings for visitors to explore. The Great Wall Museum in the scenic area is also worth visiting to learn about the history of Jiayuguan Pass.
