Introduction

On the easternmost part of Zhoushan Islands lies Shengshan Island, with a coastline stretching for thousands of kilometers and soaring high for dozens of meters, renowned for its steep cliffs, steep mountain walls, and magnificent rocks. It has now become a first-class scenic spot, with the cliff top being the best viewing point for watching the sunrise, overlooking the sea, and looking at the returning fishing boats. Here, you can boat on the sea, watch fishermen catch fish, fishwives pick treasures, and see sea nymphs collect snails and other abundant fishing scenes.

Transportation
Shengshan is the main fishing port and market of the entire Zhoushan fishing ground. Shengshan Island is the largest island at the eastern end of the Zhoushan Archipelago, facing Gouqi Island across the sea, with many ferries shuttling between the two sides. Departing from Sijiao Island, the boarding point is Xiaocaiyuan Wharf in Caiyuan Town (location: Wulong Township at the foot of Dabeishan). 1. "Shengxiang No.2" (full fare 46 yuan): departs at 7:40. On dates with odd numbers, it stops at Lvhua Island, Huaniao Island, and Gouqi Island, where passengers can get off midway. It arrives at Shengshan Island around 11:30. On dates with even numbers, it only stops at other islands and goes directly to Shengshan. After arriving at Shengshan, "Shengxiang No.2" returns along the original route and arrives back at Xiaocaiyuan Wharf at around 15:00. 2. Express boat "Maosheng No.6" (ticket price 62 yuan): departs at 15:30 and arrives directly at Shengshan Island one hour later. After arriving at Shengshan Island, it returns along the original route and arrives back at Xiaocaiyuan Wharf at around 16:45 on the same day. After arriving in Shengshan Town, you can take a tricycle or walk to the East Cliff.
