Introduction

Also known as the Xi'an Ming City Wall, it is one of the most complete ancient city walls in China, ranking second in length nationwide. It is one of the four most well-preserved ancient city walls in China, along with the Pingyao City Wall, Jingzhou City Wall, and Xingcheng City Wall. The wall is surrounded by a moat, and the famous Xi'an Bell and Drum Tower is located in the center of the wall. Tourists can choose to stroll or ride bicycles around the city gates, but the roads around the gates are not flat, so extra caution is needed when cycling.
