Yangma Ancient City
Yangma Gucheng is the site of an ancient castle. To this day, remains from the front, middle, and back sections of the castle can still be seen. It is one of the representative tourist attractions of Dongchang's ancient charm. Stepping into the Yangmacheng National Heritage Site and standing in front of the dilapidated walls of history, the withered grass and the flowing waters of the Minjiang River (a tributary of the Minjiang and Bailong Rivers) seem to tell us the story of the vicissitudes of life.
Goose Sleep Buddha
Dayan Sleeping Buddha is a landscape. Standing on the observation deck, it is clearly visible when looking southeast. According to legend, he transformed into the Buddha in order to preserve the scriptures in the official goose ditch and protect the local people, so he is highly respected in the area.
Ming Lake
Minghu is the largest lake in Guan'egou, consisting of two lakes - one long and one round. It is named Minghu because the two lakes resemble the shapes of "sun" and "moon". It has been developed into an amusement park in Guan'egou, becoming a popular leisure destination.
Princess Lake
The Princess Lake in Guangu Gou is the most beautiful lake in Guangu Gou. One reason it is named Princess Lake is because of its stunning beauty, showcasing the delicate and gentle beauty of women. The second reason is the beautiful legend associated with the lake: in ancient times, the daughter of the Celestial Emperor fell in love with the beautiful scenery of Guangu Gou and often visited. She then fell in love with a brave and diligent young man from the local Qiang ethnic group. When the Celestial Emperor found out, he sent people to take the princess back to the heavens. However, the princess was deeply in love with the young man and did not want to leave, so she transformed herself into a clear lake, forever remaining in Guangu Gou. The young man also jumped into the water to be with her. In order to commemorate the pursuit of true love by the princess and the young man, the lake was named Princess Lake.
Five Waterfalls
Wu Paoxia is one of the most exquisite attractions in Guange Gou. In the secluded and long canyon, there are five different-shaped waterfalls, which become colorful because of its name. Walking in here is like walking into a legendary paradise. Dragon Whisker Waterfall, Su Lian Waterfall, and Guange Tian Waterfall are the representatives of the waterfall landscape in Guange Gou. At the entrance of Panlong Gorge, Dragon Whisker Waterfall flows out from a cave halfway up the mountain. Panlong Gorge is like the body of a dragon, and Dragon Whisker Waterfall is like the whiskers hanging down from the dragon's mouth, which is extremely unique in structure. Su Lian Waterfall is located in the middle of the Paoxia, and a tens of meters high water curtain rushes down from the top of the mountain, pure white like water, like a long and wide Hada, truly living up to its name. Guange Tian Waterfall is where the spiritual energy of Guange Gou lies. Without experiencing Guange Tian Waterfall, it is as if you have not arrived at Guange Tian Waterfall. Its magnificence and awe-inspiring feeling cannot be described in words, it can only be understood by seeing it with your own eyes.
