Do hotels in Germany and Switzerland have kettles ?

We just came back. We stayed in hotels and guesthouses. Maybe we were lucky that they were all equipped with electric kettles. Of course, we also brought our own just in case.

Most hotels in Germany do not provide kettles in the rooms. However, the water quality in Germany is too hard, and it will produce white foam when boiled. If you really need to drink hot water, it is recommended to buy purified water from the supermarket and boil it.
