There is no comparability. Rent a car by yourself, pick up the car at Auckland Airport, and drive all the way to play. The Hobbit Village is in Matata Town. It takes about 2.5 hours to drive from Auckland. We live in Cambridge Town, 30 minutes drive to the Hobbit Village, very convenient.
